I'm pretty sure the leaks from digicame-info mostly come from retail stores. This is just information about the different kits that are available. I don't think the fact that it looks similar says much about it's capabilities. A proper spec list would reveal any changes in the sensor, LCD, wifi, battery, etc. Besides, there is the mystery circle on the front.

I'm guessing it will be released next week, because the week after is the Obon holiday in Japan and not a sensible time to launch a product.

Maybe it is just the same as the Q7 with a new name and a different body. The 2014 version for the Q-system.

I don't know, when sensor, processor and battery are still acceptable for another run, you just need to change some cosmetics and have a new model. Some new colors and of you go.....

I think processor will be updated to shoot 4k time-lapse or maybe even 4k video. If sony phone can do why not q?

I don't know. We also haven't go and bought 3D tv's after the succes of Avatar. It could well be that 4k isn't going to make it in the long run.

Industry is desperate especially television. Nobody but a few geeks really want 3d or 4K. 4k will sell once prices drop though and then it might be useful to have a 4k camera for family video.
