If PCMag determines that Canon "wins" over Pentax, they should explain why - perhaps your theory is correct. It would take only a single sentence. Or perhaps add another decimal place to their chart.

Pentax having the most cameras needing fixing is a good enough reason to be bumped below in my opinion. They need to work on that quality control. From sensor stains to mirror flopping on multiple models for the last couple years.

I didn't even have a 5 1/4 floppy, all I had was a tape deck. I mostly used it for games anyway, that's what the cartridge slot was for. (But the best games didn't come on cartridge)

What about all those expensive Nikon D800's with the sensor issues?

I agree with you, though, that Pentax really needs to improve QC. on both bodies & lenses.

Nikon had a class action on the D600. They have to replace each D600 by a D610, free of charge. I Wonder how much money it will cost ?

I'll bet right about now there's a few dozen stuffy 62 year old Japanese men who don't get it, sitting stiffly in a Boardroom.

The Zero fighter was developed by Mitsubishi, but most of actual production were licensed to Nakajima Aircraft Company whose descendant is Fuji Heavy Industries. Fuji (no relation to Fuji Film) is known for making Subaru, a car brand. Even now, Fuji is making a military equipment.
