LOL. No, I hope they sell many, many 645's! Hopefully, they'll sell so many that they'll think - heck - we can sell something with a bigger sensor.
I love this video clip. Crop Sensors vs Full Frame :: Crop Or Crap? - YouTube

Well, herein lies the problem. I've gotten sick of not knowing, so I wrote to them and asked. Here's the response, from Ricoh Japan:
"Dear Sir,
We regret to inform you that we currently do not have actual plan to put the full-frame DSLR camera on the market.
However, we will certainly transfer your comment to the related section."

So, what does that tell us?
They have a FF Pentax under development. ("the full-frame") ("to the related section") They even have a "section" working on it.
But sadly: "we currently do not have actual plan to put the full-frame DSLR camera on the market"

So wow that currently sums up our hope for a FF this year, hmm probably they would release an MILC aps-c by then..

Indeed. This reply received a few days ago, so, unless they're lying (which I don't think would be the case) we can forget about FF this year. Drat. Oh well, I'll just have to keep shooting my K-5, won't I!

I still have one question for Ricoh: will they ever stop their Pentax Original: "APS-C is the new FF"?

I'd like to know why Pentax/Ricoh didn't include a firmware update for the K20D so the new 1.4x TC will work on it..

Pentax/Ricoh. You are making me update my perfectly good K20D to a new model so I can use the TC.. Around a $2000.AUD cost for K3 and TC, instead of a $640.AUD cost for just a TC.

Maybe there'll be a K50 update {K60??} released soon, with a 20+ megapixel sensor, weather seals for half the price of the K3..

I think I spot an empty desk at Row F, column F.... Possibly, worker FF went missing among with the Alien Abduction.
