Yes, the arrangement of the dials with more things on or towards the back will suit those who prefer to compose their pictures using the rear LCD held out in the arms rather than putting their eye to a VF. For those folks, the new combi-dial on the back makes using the camera easier, not harder.

BTW, if you want a good laugh, read the comments on Google translation of the linked page. One of the commentators suggested that the camera appears to be a Korean design. There was also some speculation that the camera may talk ala "Knight Rider". Similar LEDs, you know. I saw a reference to "bukakke". I don't know if that is good or bad.

On a more practical note, the illustration is may not be a photograph, at least not a straight shot. I may have done my measurements wrong, but the proportions look to be different in the various views.

The camera reminds me of NX30 in terms of looks.

And no one could make this up. This has to be true.

In slightly more seriousness, I do wonder if this is the new avenue for naming Pentax bodies.. Q-S1, K-S1 etc.. and, if so, will the naming go along the lines of K-F1 for Full Frame, K-P1 for mid tier APS-C, K-X1 for top tier APSC or basically some kind of K-_1 for this generation and then next K-_2 etc etc

That is, if this isn't a rather elaborate hoax.

I really hope its a hoax. All those fancy lights ugh. And I just cant imagine how many monumental muckups will occur with the thumb grip (or lack of it, because there are controls in the way) being so small and badly placed.
