But you can combine it with bracketing
This is true, it just seemed a strange omission when I first encountered it.

Mistral, are those creations of yours? The gray one is awful, but the white one is pretty slick. I always thought Pentax had a good idea with their plethora of color schemes you get your camera in. The dark burgundy K30s were quite attractive, as were the dark metallic green ones.

The specs and the images are from PENTAX K-S1???????????????????? - ????info - I suppose.
Not bad, for an entry level - and it even has some of the K-3 goodies

I don't see a major difference in size compared to the standard K10D.
Looking at this picture I even looks like the prism bump on the anniversary model is higher than K10D with built in flash.

BTW is the anniversary model a fully working camera, or is it only a mockup?
I probably should not have used the anniversary model as an example. Any of a number of film SLRs would have worked better.* This page shows how the space is allocated:

Pentax K-30 vs K-5 IIs Cross Sections - Photokina 2012 - Pentax News & Photo Resources

To see the impact of the flash, simply flip it up and imagine it gone.

Here is a photo lifted from photographybanzai.com showing the K-7 with top cover removed. Yes, the prism is the little pointy black thing.

* FWIW, the prism housing has been used as sort of a catch-all space for a long time. On a couple of my film cameras, the prism itself is flanked by integrated circuit modules.

Definitely picking up the white one when it's cheap just for collection purpose, lol. Curious to see what other 10 colors are like.

The white one looks pretty good, even though its no longer the panda stormtrooper scheme. The grey one.. would look okay if the lens would also be a fitting grey
So, how is that Sony a3000 sensor? Does it beat the 16MP one in the K-01, K-30, K-5 in anything other than resolution?

I am always, very much, in love with everything in the color of green. For instance green diodes, like this camera seem to have lot of.

I am curious about the light grey lens grip.

The sensors score the same on DxO, so that will be good.

The camera is bigger then the Canon Rebel SL1

Yes, I posted this link a few pages back. Which you then made a comment on.

But you still need the other parts like AF point display and light meter in the prism housing. The flash usually use some of the empty space between the other parts that takes up space in the prism housing. The hot shoe it usually the highest part of the camera and it sits on top of the light meter. So removing the flash will only cut off some of the front part of the prisma housing, but not make any major difference of size on the camera.

It's more presumably a Sony sensor, the one you find in Alpha 3000, but with a boosted ISO range.

That is also a good enough sensor for entry level.
