Deceived by the news about 20MP sensor; Replaced by Nikon for a long time with 24MP and this september by Sony also inside cheaper models (A5100)

Same here. The white version looks good, somehow much more like a whole camera and not two parts accidentally put together. I like it!

What if the grip leds are there to automatically start up the when it sense you gripping it? A long-shot but sounds good to me.

Without a proper grip I cannot see them fitting a decent sized battery. LEDs will contribute an interesting cast to long exposures - I just hope you can turn it off. Pentax should be about function not looks. Was the designer on LSD?
Polar light simulator for long night exposures? What a great idea!

Is it just me or does the body look modular?
I saw that ''groove'' to, and it make me wonder, if, indeed, it is modular. But, looking at the other pictures leaked, I don't know.

Another thing I noticed, is that above the mode dial, the body is raised, so, the finger can sit without touching the buttons accidentally.

The white version is definitely the prettier one. But how does a white camera look after a few weeks of use? I know for sure it wouldn't work for me.

lol

I've never been attracted to white products - like phones, cameras etc. Granted I have a white Pentax Q but that was a steal and in a brown leather half case it looks good.

I didn't read all 26 pages of comments, but that looks like a touch screen on the back.

The specs seem to suggest it isn't, but we shall see.
