But very confusing trying to navigate to my usual sections. Perhaps as with certain Windows menus there should be a 'Classic' option?

The new design looks great, however I feel a bit lost. Maybe I'll get used to it eventually.

This is ? the third or fourth major change to this forum since I've been a member (2009). It's clearly more blog like, much cleaner than before, and after the initial confusion, I'm getting used to it. How do I like it? Not sure yet, however, as it's unlikely to go back to its previous familiar form, I will adapt as I have before.

All of that said, congratulations and well done to the admin staff for once again keeping this forum fresh. Such efforts are the hallmark of a well run website.

I like it - kinda.
When I looked at it this morning at home (on Safari/MBP) I was intrigued but didn't have a lot of time to fully absorb the new interface. Figured I'd wait until I got to the office to really explore (mostly at lunchtime ). To my surprise the home page is no longer usable on Opera (Win 7) - seems the other pages are fine so far. Guess I'll have to try Firefox next.

I know the user control panel allows one to disable images, but with the old pages, I was able to position my windows for "stealth browsing" at work, and then quickly shift the windows around when there was something that caught my eye.

Would be nice to have a more explicit "stealth mode" option, that would maybe make all the images really small or monochrome, or line them up on the left side of the page or something. :-)

Yeah, Firefox (actually Pale Moon, another Mozilla project) works fine.

Considering they did not give any body a heads-up warning, the transition went pretty smoothly. I have not encountered any problems so far. I remember when KEH did a make over on their site, it was hell for a couple of weeks.
