I've no idea, but as we seem to be looking at a very Japan-focused company, perhaps we'll see something new and unexpected from the Ricoh camp, maybe the Ricoh Izanagi aka "My Pet Endoscope" - a trendy accessory with a flashing green light at the end so that owners of the new K-S1 can show one another that they Just Get It (TM) simply by opening their mouths.
I'd like to see a new kit lens with a more svelte design and a full motor on board. The olde wolde one on the K-S1 looks a bit out of place and lets the side down, imho.
I'd like to see an announcement that in future all Ricoh cameras will have wifi onboard together with a first-class tablet/phone app free in the box. Also an announcement that in future video will be seen as a key feature of every camera with steps taken to offer best in class video performances/features on cameras from 2015 on.
Maybe steps taken to link up with media providers so that getting your images onto a huge range of items from greeting cards or jigsaw puzzles to clothing or cups is much easier if you have Ricoh equipment - direct interfaces to selected vendors via the Ricoh websites if you are a registered member, for example.
More ambassadors, but this time folks who carry a bit of weight (er, figuratively speaking) and will add some lustre to the brand. Not celebs or phoney pro photographers but just folks whose success in their field marks them out as fine people to emulate. Like food photography, for example? A champion baker or sushi chef singing the praises of Pentax will carry more weight than yet another internet-based photography pundit who is "all about me". TBH, Ricoh could do a lot worse than revive that famous 1960s advertising campaign built around "David Bailey's Pentax" - or whoever's Pentax.
A new iteration of the Ricoh GR or an addition to the GR range would be welcome. A GR with WR would be even better considering it is partly a camera for street photography.
A revised lens roadmap which makes it clear that the APS-C catalogue is going to be revised and updated all around and the revisions will be timely (not one a year).
I'm not expecting big things like a new mirrorless system or an FF system any time soon, if at any time at all, and not really any of the above either ... I think this fair is going to be all about the K-S1 and the 645z, so it won't hold much of interest for those forum members whose territory is upmarket APS-C. Maybe a new DA telephoto, though.
