Yet the title alone is dismissive and discouraging - clearly this camera needs befuddle reduction inside!

The (female) reviewer liked the LEDs. I would blame the title on the editors.

Also muddled up a few things, like getting the maximum ISO wrong, repeatedly calling moire 'distortion'. Oh well. Clearly they took about half a dozen snaps and then went on to reviewing a new video game.

Tom's missing something as he states that ... " The K-S1 is compatible with Pentax's 40 lenses made for APS-C sensors " !!! Of course he knows little about Pentax !

I thought it was a fair statement. Pentax also has a number of lenses which aren't compatible with the K-S1, basically all of the Q and 645 lenses.

I don't agree. It is one more example where they would have stated total number of compatible lenses if it had been Canikon.

Could Tom's be the most frustrating website ever? It never stops loading and things keep moving around so that you can never click on the article you want. Ugh. Not worth the trouble.

I think the last time I used that site was 10 years ago when I was researching motherboards...

I don't think the site is that bad for certain reviews of items. And at least Pentax got some press, and it is positive.

Sure, it's just if we (I certainly) think it is c**p, it would be fairly hypocritical to say it is a good review just because Pentax isn't reviewed too badly.
If it is c**p, it is c**p.
