Old lenses will get a price boost after this announcement.

Also, K-3 and K-5II will be even cheaper, and that is great

Interesting :-) Will have to start saving then. The plan is to have a K3 for longer focal lengths and full frame for the wide ones. Playing to the strengths :-)

Here are the translated items from the FB link above. Nothing official that I can see:
Ricoh Imaging France photokina : Ricoh Imaging is present on THE international exhibition of picture until Sunday ... Stay tuned or visit us at our booth ! Top Comments Gilles SoundHound Daugenet , Jin Katsuo , Minobe Ryouji and 22 others like this . Tony Bruce I am also tired of waiting ....! No Full Frame Pentax !!!! then bye bye 1 ˇ 2 hours ago Ricoh Imaging France The full frame is in development right now ! We will keep you informed on this page ! 2 hours ago ˇ about year Photographer Emmanuel Rolland- Still not full-size on the horizon ... what a pity that Pentax / Ricoh does not deal more to the wishes of its customers. Personally, I'm starting to get tired of this lack of interest and I think I will soon turn to a brand. 1 ˇ 3 hours ago 3 Replies ˇ 54 minutes ago Tony Bruce Okay well it is developing ... !!! 14 minutes ago Tony Bruce Oufff ! But why it is not advertised to the Photonika ... !! ???? 17 minutes ago Matthew Volat Very interesting these three objectives demo, do I have a case "large diameter " to go with the lens? 6 hours ago Alexis Le Forestier At Köln ?? The article when translated seems to make an assumption that FF is coming based on the two lens design prototypes.

There is no official quote cited.

There is!

I know, you guys just don't want to be disappointed again next year :-).
It will happen, I believe, although I have also invested quite a lot in Sony E-mount systems.
I'm not on the "pentax doomed" side. I just don't belief the French. I would like an FF from Pentax but I'm fine with apc-s

I think it might be wise to wait on some confirmation more official than remarks in a magazine and/or on Facebook. No matter how plausible these remarks may seem, they do not come directly from a senior person at Ricoh in a form which allows no ambiguity. Perhaps the Pentax Forum staff will have more info as the result of a visit to the Ricoh stand at Photokina or Pentax USA can be persuaded to comment. "FF" comes in many shapes and sizes and at many price points these days. We've been here before with these claims in magazines - "developing" a product does not mean "we launch on date X" or even go into production - so best not to go overboard about it until some very firm news is in.

I've always thought the best way to get Ricoh to do it is to make my plans to do something else. Of course.

I'm happy with my modest Takumars (and the A50/1.2 of course ) so no need to start collecting again

I don't believe for a second that a Pentax FF Camera is under development.

I do however believe 100% that a Pentax FF Camera is Under Engineering.

Imagine. Change.
