Yep

Samyang's there for that but no Limited though.
And those DFA's prototype do not have aperture rings either.
I intend to be very thoughtful about what high quality lenses I sell for the next year or so.

The DA* 55mm f1.4 (a.k.a the aps-c redesign of the FA 85mm f1.4), encompasses most of the design elements that future D-Fa lenses might exhibit, (No A-ring, SMD/DC, WR, (+ better coating)) If they happen to introduce a new Limited, it's probably going to be an wide or uwa lens.
I'd be okay with that.

If everythings true (and I do believe they are) I would hope for my 2015-16 camera kit to consist of:

Pentax 35mm digital
16mm f4 UWA prime
24mm f2.8 Wide prime
31mm f1.8 Limited prime
43mm f1.9 Limited Prime
55mm f1.4 (DA*)
77mm f1.8 Limited Prime
24-70 f2.8 Zoom
70-200 f2.8 zoom

Granted I would probably only ever use the two zooms, 55, and 77.....

Even just to use the three limiteds and the 55 DA* on a 35mm format digital would be heavenly.

Well, new Lmiteds may just only be HD DC WR versions (not that I would be unhappy).
Like the DA 20-40 Limited as an HD DC WR version of the FA 20-35,
although in that case the switch to APS-C only and using modern glasses
has made more of a difference.

Apropos the `new limited' part of the post... I just noticed that the Digital Rev store has the FA 31 and FA 77 as discontinued.

Disclaimer: I have no experience with the digital rev store, so I don't know how reliable their pronouncements are.

That may be a sign of a refresh! It sure would be cool if they had them available in Prestige (graphite) color!

I also have a friend who is an engineer with Ricoh Japan, but he speaks japanese only and I can't understand him.
Oh, perfect. I speak Japanese! Perhaps I can be of some assistance?

If it is true then my prediction is that Pentax won't do a FF camera, rather their FF is 645

You don't need much to jump to a conclusion. It might just mean Digital is no longer selling it. It might also mean that HD versions of the HD limiteds are around the corner.

Actually, you can call them Amigos. The SMC are The Princesses.

That may be a store only information and they have discontinued those, not Ricoh Image!!

Here come the HD Pentax-D FA 31mm f/1.8, 43mm f/1.9 and 77mm f/1,8 Limited.
Be prepared for the original FA limited trio to take a massive price hike. The only thing that might possibly interest me in a remake of the FA limited lenses if they did it Leica style, and made them all fully apochromatic. But even then I would miss the aperture ring and the overall feel of the lenses.

I think if they go apochromatic, the bokeh would take a penalty...

Adding a Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 to my lens collection to cover the 50-70 gap with f/2.8. I wonder which of my collection will be ff compatible.

Why? The bokehs of truly apochromatic lenses, such as Voigtländer Apo-Macro-Lanthar 125mm f/2.5 SL, Zeiss Apo-Sonnar T* 135mm f/2 ZE/ZF.2 or Carl Zeiss Sonnar-Superachromat 250mm f/5.6 (for Hasselblad 500C) are among the most beautiful I have ever seen.
