So the CRK office in perth is just a dropoff/pickup point?

Do they do any technical stuff? sensor cleaning, calibration, general techy thingy?

I was told there is a nikon and canon service centre in perth. Surely pentax must have a proper service centre in WA as well?
Sadly the Perth office is a drop off point only, however if you ask politely they will give your sensor a clean........with a rocket blower
At least you do get free freight in their overnite bag for non warranty work.
Hartland Camera repairs is the C&N service centre.

Raider.
I don't think you are quite familiar with Perth - basically it is the furthest point from anywhere and its population is about what you would find in a suburb in some countries (I'm exagerating of course). Don't get me wrong it is the most beautiful city on the planet.

The point is we are pretty lucky to even have a drop off point for Pentax with our population and in relation to Perths overall sales of Pentax.

At least you didn't happen to buy the K10D, and then find out that the Samsung GX-10 is about 40% cheaper. At least it is here in Romania.
