Want to meet "the wobbly one"? Pentax FA 28-80 f/5.6-5.6 power zoom, from the PZ film era (1990-1993). I had one of those and when fully extended, the front group could be tilted about 2mm to any side.  The FA 70-200 f/4-5.6 power zoom was very bad too!!! (had it too!)
