Originally posted by RuiC At first I thought my 16-45 was decentered too, but I noticed that when extended for wider angle the barrel plays a bit and I usually held the lens by the barrel. Now I hold it near the mount and that avoids that play which provoked decentering.
I have never seen people holding the extended part of the lens before... how do you do that? Do you zoom the lens out and then re-position your left hand to the front part of the lens to steady the shot?

Originally posted by Sam N. Good question. Is anyone out there thinking to get the 16-85mm. I am thinking to get it, I presently use 16-50mm DA* lens as all purpose
I am wondering if the new 16-85 lens would be an upgrade kit lens bundle in the future (much like the 18-135). Hopefully someone will buy the bundle with camera and sell the lens separately, I am thinking.....

Originally posted by LensBeginner Well, the 18-135 reaches f/5.6 pretty fast, around 70-78mm...
It remains to se what the aperture steps are on this one...
On the 18-135, from 69-135mm it is f5.6. I hope it stays at f4.5 further out before it reaches f5.6 like 75-85.
