Any rumours or info when the new Big & Fast zooms will arrive?? especially the 80/100-400 F4- ?
if your reading this Mr. Pentax/Ricoh please give a sign/ smoke signal,lightning,comet or whatever before I have to look elsewhere for something longer

Best guess? In spring when the FF camera is released. Release will include three FF zooms, plus 4 or 5 primes. All released as a system. Primes will be 3 Limiteds with new coatings plus at least two others probably 50mm and 28mm.

Ricoh seem to give little advanced notice before announcing something, and usually delivering it a month later. The fact they showed mock ups suggests they may not be far off although it is anyones guess. I'm going with first quarter next year.

Some still think that Pentax is releasing a full frame camera, i see no evidence for this, Ricoh representatives did honestly say that there is development, at some stage (not clear as to where they are up to), of full frame but no information as to what stage they are at and they said that the market had to be right for them to produce and release a full frame DSLR. Websites seem to run with this idea that they are developing, then all of a sudden everyone thinks they are releasing full frame. I will believe it when i see it, especially when Pentax see their medium format as better than full frame.

The two lenses we're talking about may or may not be FF, but the will be equaly useful on our current cameras. If we start seeing a 24-70 then we will know FF is just around the corner. Not that this thread was ever about a FF camera

I've read somewhere that they're coming in winter, so either December (I think it's unlikely) or the beginning of next year.

Ah, no, actually I've read about the 16-85 and mistakenly thought the article was refering to all three...
