Wasn't the 645 LS on the roadmap or was it an unofficial comment that it was coming ?
The latter -there isn't any leaf shutter lens on the roadmap:

It has been an unofficial "leak" from The Luminous Landscape.
Definitely a good idea

Well, I remember someone posting about it here but it may have been a reference to LL, indeed.

So funny: there is nothing about potential leaf shutter lenses in Luminous Lanscape's review of the 645Z, it's the 'landlord', Michael Reichmann, who posted the corresponding rumour on this very forum:

Pentax says that tethering in studio is coming before the end of the year. There are new leaf shutter lenses coming as well.

Michael
then he back-pedalled a bit in his own forum:

It's just a rumour like so many others.

Maybe also a bit of wishful thinking. Pentax really need some new LS lenses to appeal to the wedding crowd.

Pentax may have had to joke and manipulate Mr Reichmann to sell him a 645Z.

This years CP+ should prove to be very interesting. In the past Pentax hasn't always had the best representation at trade shows. This year's CP+ should be better overall. Their booth, while not as large as Canon or Nikon, is respectable in size and on par with Fuji. Now, what will they be announcing?

World premiere show CP+2015
Good to see that Pentax bothers to have a booth. Announcements? ?????!!!!!!!!!!

Neither was tech inside the K-3 on the roadmap.
LS lenses may come. Perhaps not all 645 lenses will be LS, but some may.
I would not exclude future FF lenses to have something of the LS sort, to leave the K-mount flash sync issues behind, once and for all ...

Sony, however, is an outlier next to Casio
...how far the mighty have fallen, I didn't even know that Casio was still in the camera business.

Personally I think Casio should stick to watches.

The original batteries in my fathers FX-80 died around 2010 after thirty(!) years of service. I used it heavily in high school and at university, and numerous family member before and after that.
That's what I want from my next camera.

They make this crazy souped up version of the same Pentax MX-1 / Olympus XZ-2 design. It's built like a tank, can shoot over 500 shots on its battery, and can bracket two parameters at once, such as focus and aperture, resulting in 9 shots. It has a really good interface too. I think they only sell it in certain parts of Asia and it costs a fortune, so I doubt they sell many.

EX-10 - ??????? - CASIO
