Well, not too much information yet, but I like the look of both the lens and the camera!

At CES it may be too much, yes.
It'd almost be as relevant as a new Barbie (OK, I made that up but you get the point).

Consumer -> camera for everybody. Nothing else. Not now... CP+ though...

Very nice indeed! This could very well be Ricoh's mid-tier Pentax APS offering. Has anyone started guessing the specs? Will it have a 24 MP sensor with 12-bit RAW output? Maybe 14-bit here and 16-bit for some kind of pro level system? As a K-30 owner I may be tempted with this offering. Let's hope we get to see the back of the body soon.

Oh ... just noticed the AF switch doesnt include AF-C? Uh-oh...

Don't worry... looks to be the same switch that the K-3 has.

The K-3 doesn't have that on the switch either.

There must be a af-mode toggle button on the back.

Hmm, I'm not excited...

There's DA* 60-250 - who needs #4?
If only it's vice versa and the golden ring can be found on #3... If there's a real gap in the Pentax lens line-up, then it's the big hole between DA*300 and DA560.

Or it brings up the choice on the LCD, which seems like a feature more fitting a low/midrange camera vs physical switches on pro/enthusiast.

70-200 f/2.8 sounds good to me.

Why guess specs? We'll probably know for sure next month.

Next month? Who can wait that long? Guessing is like a tradition here. Then we have to be disappointed when the released specs don't match the guess. Of course, when the product is released everyone will fall in love with it and we'll all say how great the specs are!

It's supposed to be a 70-200 F2.8 that's FF compatible.

Also, 4 pages in and no one has said Pentax is doomed yet?

Is it too soon to say the launch prices are much too high, and the lens isn't as good as the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8?

This collapsible lens would have been perfect kitted with the K-01. Oh well.
