Just remember it is the CONSUMER Electronics Show. You will only see pocketable cameras and devices. No K mount or larger announcements/releases... outside of maybe showing off the KS-1.
Well.. there goes my theory..

That said, this looks like an upgraded KS-1 to me.

Pretty sexy camera. Body looks a lot like the GH4. If this is weather resistant like the K50 I might have to grab one.

Someone posted that these are just announcements of future releases. I checked the press release wording and it says:

"RICOH IMAGING to Exhibit Four Reference Products at the 2015 International CES"

That seems to mean that each of the four prototypes is to be physically present at CES, not merely announced.

I guess the button on the lens is to fold/unfold the lens. the intriguing thing was the focal scale which is out of range, and centered on a mark.

There is already a LED around the main shutter button, presumably green for still photography and red for movie recording (same as K-S1).
Remember people, these are prototypes. The production models can look and or have different features. And the prototypes that actually make it to the show may not even be the ones pictured.

Photos of the prototypes will be physically present, just to spite you.

A stretch. Sort of funny, but still a stretch.

My first impression was that it has an aggressive appearance. It's a different kind of "looks cool" than the multi color options, sort of the anti KS-1 to appeal to a different crowd.

The fact that they're revealing the "K-60" at CES makes me even more hopeful that they'll reveal a full frame at CP+

I like that collapsible zoom, they need that for the K-S1 more than for the new camera

Of course, after 14 years of waiting it would be a slap in our face to announce the FF on the CES. It needs to be announced at CP+ or Photokina, not a simple consumer electronics show in Las Vegas. So this new medium level camera with the collapsible design (which is a stroke of genius, are there other DSLR's with collapsible standard zoom lens designs???) will be announced on the right show

Oh no, not another slow zoom. One that's made extra wobbly this time. Touché, didn't see that one coming at all.

Any high end gear that they plan to show will be mostly bought by consumers. I think most users will forgive them if they announce something awesome at CES.

Pentax's DA18-55s are going to be collectors items someday. The way some people are collecting 50mm lenses today. It's not going to be easy to get your hands on all different versions that have been and will be made!!

Nice to see updated pictures of the coming lenses. Let's hope they'll be on the market by the summer (I "need" the 100-400 by autumn ).

Yes, AF-S DX Nikkor 18–55mm f/3.5–5.6G VR II and the newly announced (this morning) AF-S DX Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED VR II.

They are less compact than the Pentax lens seems to be: to retract them reduces their length by around 1.5-2 cm only.
