Would be really awesome if they added A-setting on aperture ring for the K-mount!
And that focus throw.. I hope the distance scales in that photo are pre-production, and get improved. Definitely a lens to keep an eye out for

This looks like it could be a good lens for DSLR scanning 135 sized film.

I wonder how long that logo will last once the Nissan legal department sinks their teeth in.

I still don't see how this is worth $380. If the optical quality is anything like the other fully manual k-mounts from China (Mitakon) then it certainly isn't.

Sounds like the lens is best suited for Live View applications then.

I tried to buy it but they wouldn't come down enough on price. Silly me - I thought it had A contacts! Now I'm glad I didn't buy it I have enough toys for now anyway.

Why do we need 2:1 or even greater magnification;

But this china lens is questionable....

Quoting myself, but I asked them via Ebay, and sadly the answer is no, it does not have an aperture lever. This reduces the convenience of this lens considerably, IMHO...

I've downloaded three of their RAW files available for download (on their website)
And it was interesting to see Lightroom is saying one of them were shot with Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM lens! but the other two had no indication of the lens. only the camera which was a canon apsc.

Do the Chinese worry about TM or patents?
