'Sigma 120-300mm OS f2.8 in Pentax mount'
This new Pentax camera and that particular lens look to be the perfect start already for my future Sony A7R/Pentax combined system I would like to use this lens for portraits rather than the 70mm to 200mm with that samyang 135mm f/2 to go with my Contax 180mm 2.8. I really hope that some of the future prime lenses have aperture rings as they already do on the limiteds, and weather resistance for even more utility. I could potentially use them on both cameras putting the 31mm between the 28mm and 35mm lenses I have for my Sony A7R, and likewise a 43mm before the Pentax A 50mm 1.2 as I love the range around true normal focal length. Perhaps Zeiss will start to make their lenses in K mount again now too.

Can this Pentax mount version be confirmed? I can't seem to find it anywhere else.

Doesn't exist. It shows up in some vendor listings from time to time. Either a scam or a mistake.

That's annoying
Now I really hope Sigma consider making that lens available in future to Pentax mount.

They definitely have more reasons now than 3 months ago, that's pretty clear.

Fuji is adding aperture rings to their lenses due to customer demand. Sony has put one on the new 35mm F/1.4 FE, and the new Zeiss lenses all have aperture rings (Loxia & Otus). Hopefully Ricoh will see the market demand and bring them back the the D-FA Limited lenses.

Amen!

Unfortunately, I think Ricoh has definitively answered the question of aperture rings and "crippled" mounts, at least for now.

Aperture rungs can also be fully electronic. IMO this the case for Fuji and might be for Sony 35mm.

Of course if you had Fuji's ergonomics in Pentax SLR, the aperture ring would not be an option.... but pentaxians, yes !

Does anyone know if the minimum focus distance changes as you zoom in? Does it stay a constant 3.94' (1.2 m) across the zoom range?

If Sigma is smart they will quickly slap K-mount to their top lenses, to quickly fill the void in the Pentax FF lineup just when the FF comes out. Pentax will work quickly to fill it, but Sigma already has the lenses

Sigma's problem is that they can barely meet the demand for Canon & Nikon mount. The don't have the manufacturing capacity to quickly produce K-mount lenses. They have back orders for the Art series as it is.

The Sigma 24mm and 50mm Art needs to have a K-mount!
(My hope )

Hi,

As seen in the 150-450 thread, Ricoh released an iOS app with some sample images taken with the 150-450 and the 70-200.
Luckily this app is a webapp and we can use it in a web browser :
The link for the 150-450
The link for the 70-200

And here are the pictures from the 70-200 :

shots look good... and they're really emphasizing the new lenses for sports, as Mr. Saiki also said in the interviews. Thanks for posting!
