Steve
There's so many wads in my undergarments already I can't put any more wads in them.

I just orders an FA-J 18-35, I have 35, 35-80,50 and 70, 90 and M-135 and A-400. It's just not wadable information.

But look at that gap. from 70-200. If I buy the FF I won't be able to afford the 70-200 for years, because the 150-450 comes first, but hey, I want it to be there.

Ok then, enough about me.
Let's talk about you for a while.

Me? I was committed several decades ago to a institution for the criminally insane where I remain to this day. This Web site is one of my more prominent delusions and the handwritten accounts of my dealings here on this site have filled literally hundreds of notebooks. If you need to know more, I will need permission...

That explains those huge gaps in my reality overnight. It must be when you're sleeping.

I think you two are a bit confused, this thread is about the D FA* 70-200 f/2.8 - that other thread can be found elsewhere

We can subvert any thread. That other thread wasn't our first, and it won't be our last.

Subversions R US.

Is this becoming "why I won't buy a DFA 70-200mm f/2.8" thread?

Depends... does the D FA 70-200 have the name Ricoh on it anywhere?
Sign of the evil hociR ?

I think they may correspond to my medication schedule.

Do your meds reduce the hallucinations? Or enhance them?

Norm,
Re the A/400. As a possible side effect of wads in the smalls, or lens creep, the Ministry of Silly Walks technique is totally appropriate while carrying an overweight tripod.

I asked about the conflicting Sept vs Feb lens rumors because Asahi, Adam, and B&H should all be privy to reliable info. Maybe B&H got bad info, or they offended our corporate overlords and are low on the distribution list

We will know a lot more after PF users receive the lens.
