Yeah but it is always difficult to mesure anyway as it will depend on how your spend you like to spend your money and it doesn't count neither things like quality of infrastructures (roads, hospital) the possibility to be cured for free or not.
Just recently, the euro dropped a lot toward $. Not long ago it was 1.3$ for 1€, now it is 1.08$ for 1€, and it was lower at some point. If you go a little back we had almost 1.6$ for 1€ at some point and at other times 0.85$ for 1€...
But in the end I see mainly the change when I look for US price of photo gear or when I want to go on vacations. Most of my expenses stay in euros.
As for theses lenses, if they help you as a professionnal to achieve better results and gain clients, this is insanely cheap. If it is for fun, well just ensure you have enough money to cover your expenses. It is not worse than getting a more expensive car, clothes, smoking or going to the restaurant on a regular basis.
