Keep on enjoying Pentax. Yes some people have been given gifts such as free use of equipment and get paid for using them. Good luck.

As for Canon well, no offense but I don't like their designs. It's just to round.

Agree. I dont like the design of them either. Pentax i liked from first moment. Fits my hands well! Im used to Nikon, so a bit more similar then Canon is. but the future of Pentax, is the brightest at the moment.

Are you saying those lenses are coming? I don't believe that the actual focal lengths have been announced to the public.

I know folks here want the 600 f4, 250-600 etc but the 300mm f2.8 is the classic focal length, perfect lens for wildlife/birding, you can put on different TC's and get 420, 600, 900mm 1-3 stops down. Seeing how much mileage people have gotten from their DA* 300 + TC, the new 300mm f2.8 from Pentax will be a showstopper.

Nope, There are no focal lengths shown in the roadmap. The focal length bars are deliberately fuzzy and can't be used to predict anything more than a general range.

I expected also a 24-70mm (it seems natural to sell both 24-70mm and 70-200mm for pro-photographers using FF cameras) but I have not seen any public release about it.. Does somebody know when it should be available ? It could be great to have this lens on the same date than the FF

Right before or just after the FF release. That is the plan at least.

That's great news !!! I guess the 24-70mm f/2.8 from sigma (Macro or HSM version) was the only alternative in K mount for this range and aperture, even if Sigma seems to boycott the K mount nowadays (no 150-600mm and no 24mm f/1.4 Art....)

They don't boycott it... they just don't release FF lenses because Pentax currently doesn't have a FF camera. They still release the APSC lenses for K-mount. A year or so after the K mount FF camera is out there, depending on how successful it is, Sigma might release some FF K-mount lenses, I think.
