No reviews yet? Ricoh doesn't know how to market obviously, no one is buying them. Pentax is Doomed!

Adam wouldn't put it up if he didn't know the correct name would he? Just noticing both are AW designated.

I hope that Adam made some arrangements for the PF servers, to hold the traffic that will be around the time when the countdown will end.

"HD Pentax-D FA zoom lenses are optimized for use with Pentax Digital SLRs. They cover the 24x36mm full frame image circle, but can also be used with cameras with an APS-C size sensor. They can be used on such Pentax film cameras that have provision for setting the aperture from the camera body.
Auto-focus (built-in AF motor, no support for screw drive)
Auto-aperture (no aperture ring)
Film & Digital

I hope Pentax-Ricoh have made a reliable fast and accurate focusing for new Pentax cameras.. I'm getting tired with manual focus, and sometimes it causes me to miss some good critical moments...

Assuming that the Norwegian pentax rep hasn't been trolling our facebook group, I think it's the big one being announced in a few hours

Likely screw drive support will be kept in a new camera body for legacy lenses, but the noise of screw drive is one of the criticisms of the Pentax system and lenses.
I'm fine with no screw drive on new lenses as long as the in lens AF motor is as reliable as the DC one used in the 18-135.

So what kind of announcement are we looking for?
something in person like Apple does?
something on their web-page?
a tweet?

i.e., how will we know that something has actually happened???

You won't. Because it isn't true. In 5 hours and 7 minutes, the Ricoh Imaging website will be hacked and a seemingly official announcement will be posted there (Adam - if that's his real name - is an accomplice). But we know better than to believe it's genuine.
They will even have people pretending to see the products at CP+. Later, people pretending to buy them and posting fake pictures, supposedly made with those lenses. We know better. We can't be fooled. It's a conspiracy
