May happen off the show floor, though, since I'm with a publication. On the other hand, our contacts with Ricoh Japan aren't great, so who knows.
If that happens sign someone else's name on the non-disclosure agreement so you can tell us all about it.

So is the new FF about the same size as the 6d? Or smaller?

Holy crap.. 2 years later and it's starting to materialize!
Maybe time to sell the D800, can't wait to see what it is when it's realized and delivered!

Although I wasn't waiting for it, I have to say This Is Awesome! Pentax enters the ring with the big boys!

And a big 2.8 zoom lens! I'm stunned.

Rather excited to see both the new models. Hopefully the one shown a few weeks back will be released for actual purchase soon. Eagerly awaiting news on the video front on these, namely will they have actual sensor stabilisation during video recording, like they used to?...

Initial specs say KAF3 so unless that changes it would be NO.
And actually the mount designation on the body should be KAF2 to support screw drive lenses so the KAF3 spec is suspect.

70-200 looks interesting but just wondering what makes it so heavy, it's heavier than Nikon/.Canon lenses with OS.

That would be a total blowout, wouldn't it? I think they might be looking to sell a few new lenses; if the zillion old lenses were basically as good as new ones save for autofocus, I think that might decrease motivation for people to get out of the used marketplaces just a bit.

It's made of adamantium.

This: "Sensor system with reduced movement and rotation compensation system" Does it mean there is still in body SR but not as effective as what we are used to in K3 etc? That approach might have been necessary in order to keep size down or to make it work with existing lenses?
I've seen a few posts quoting this now; everyone seems to be parsing it as:

Sensor system with reduced {movement and rotation compensation} system

Am I the only one who read it as:

Sensor system with {{reduced movement} and {rotation compensation}} system

where "reduced movement" is an awkward translation of what should have been "shake reduction"?
