They have a whole year!!! A 16-35, and a 24-70, all f2.8. Maybe new FA limited with HD. And thats it, Canikon can say his prayers, Ricoh Pentax is taking a big piece of cake of the dslr market, they already did with MF (see how Hasseblad change their prices).

Im so happy i didnt jump ship!!! I even buy a FA 50 F1.4 with my K3 because I trust this is gonna happen.

Now I just hope that Sigma launches that 24-70 F2.0 for K mount.

^This.

The final calculation in my last lens purchase was that it would/should work with a future FF body. I would be seriously miffed if it forced a crop when unnecessary.

I see a spanish site that post the specs too..But i wont confirm them..Not at this moment.
All I hope is that Pentax is smart and get you those lenses early to shoot with for promotional images as well as comments. And that they give you and Kerrick the full frame ahead of time and free of charge to do the same.

I'm sure it will be optional and switchable, just like it is on (for example) Nikon and Sony when crop lenses are mounted on FF. No need to do anything different.

All 3 are too expensive for me to be able to afford. Being a hobbyist photographer, I can only dream of such gear.

But I'm so happy today because our ecosystem is growing. Better late than never.

If so, that'd be perfect. I got me a DA*55 that would like to be mounted on a FF camera~

Love you Ricoh for finally doing something that was long needed. Not sure if I will be able to afford it by the time of its release, but if it will also come with fixed videography features that Pentax was critiqued for dramatically, I am going to do whatever it takes to get the shiny Pentax FF

If you are talking about the body, I guess the price will depend on the specs (esp sensor MP).

But on B&H the Nikon D810 is $3000, the Canon 5D3 is $3000. So $3000 wouldn't be extreme for the Pentax.

cheers - that is enough for me to know for now.

I feel vindicated in buying up all the best FF legacy lenses now. While new lenses will be better, they will also be US$2000+ (make that nearly AUD$3000+ given AUD slump). There is no way I could afford those!!!!!!

If screw drive is supported inteh new body then all my lenses will work. Yippeeee. Moreover, there will be many people like myself being unable to afford the latest and greatest so I see legacy FF lenses maintaining their prices - especially with SR in body (not that OS in lens is not a feature of the latest release). My FA* 80-200mm/ 2.8 for AUD$1300 now seems a good price

Cheers
