Sigma 50mm 1.4 EX DG HSM
Pentax 10-17mm

Will these lenses both work on the FF and what will the range be in mm approx?

The 10-17mm will look something like this on FF

The sigma yes, all Sigma DG are FF compatible... the Pentax not until 14mm + .. but at 10mm it will have an strong vignetting unless you use the Crop Mode.
Thanks Kooks

Exactly - the name will be K1D or something else. The name has not been announced and AFAIK there are no plausible rumors of the name either.

They might not even have decided on the name yet. And honestly, the name is the least important detail for me But as we have no confirmed specs, I understand the need of something to talk about

By the way, K1D won't happen, they stopped using the D a long time ago, since the K7...

Or maybe K-P1, going with the K-letter number scheme.

I am hopelessly in love with the FA limited 3 amigos. They are beautiful and temperamental. Sometimes they handle the contrast of light perfectly and then one stop on, it's a totally different story. Focusing can be challenging, particularly if you are just trying to keep a particular area in focus. I am going to move to a tripod and use a loop to be sure in my close up work. However, when all is good, the results are like "cinema like" and wonderful. My other DA lenses are nice, but don't produce the art in the same way. However, as you note, they also don't produce the artifacts either. ;-)

Zapatos means " shoes ", so I'm guessing it's related to a hot shoe mount.
Thanks for the clarification! Sounds close in Filipino (Tagalog) - Sapatos - shoe. If this is true then there is a hotshoe up there above the prism. A popup flash could go, but it wouldn't make sense for a costly full-frame not to have a hotshoe.

I think the reason for that, is that they wait until the last minute, to make shure they have the absolute latest of technology onboard when they release the camera. This is my thoughts and not info It will fit with the new thinking of Ricoh/Pentax.

I remember when they didn't even knew the buffer size, when they launched the K-5 The brochures were all wrong, overestimating camera's capabilities - and then were still wrong after the first firmware update which managed to fit many more frames into the buffer.
I guess it's a bit early to publish specs 6-7 months in advance.

Initial specs say KAF3 so unless that changes it would be NO.
And actually the mount designation on the body should be KAF2 to support screw drive lenses so the KAF3 spec is suspect.
There is a physical AF switch on the Dummy so there is a screw drive in the body.

It looks good, compact enough for an FF.

When Pentax would do the oly resolution trick with the FF and they used a 36mp sensor that would become 90mp. (or 60 for 24) W00t.
