That is so funny... the only thing that upsets me about that piece is, I didn't write it. Someone there has definitely been reading the forum with an objective view point.

Well others get excited, write blogs, articles and reviews when Canon gets its toy cam upgraded so each to his own I guess

The two lenses in the thread title were lumps of plastic a short while ago as well.

They are just getting their last laugh before the FF comes out. A lot of people are lining up for the last licks, once the FF comes out and the whole "no pro quality upgrade path argument has gone out the window, there's going to be precious little for the anti-pentax snipers to shoot at. Let them enjoy it while they can.

Especially if the new 70-200 - and 150-450 out perform their competition.

Don't worry, they will find something else; they always find something else. Exaggerating (e.g. the LED-mania or the red ring-mania) irrelevant aspects, if nothing else.
And you do realize that Pentax is making the wrong type of FF, right?

And one aperture ring on the 31 to bind them all and in the darkness find them . . .

It's quite hilarious, but sadly true.
While it is sad that a 3D printed "lump of plastic" was all Ricoh could show, at least they have finally publicly come out of the closet. Its a good sign for the Pentax brand..... Marketing is obviously still a work in progress.

They may even fear that they (canikony shooters) have no upgrade path beyond their petty little 35mm sensors whilst pentax/ricoh have compacts, Q, APS-c, 35mm, medium format all covered.

Video of the new D-FA lenses on youtube

This from digitalcamerainfo.com, Interesting use of the programmable buttons on the 150-450mm zoom.
