The KS-2 looks pretty nice, especially with the low-light autofocus abilities of the K-5 IIs. That body, with new 16-50 WR lens and the AF201FG WR flash, makes for a very compelling mid-level kit. Just add the DA 55-300 WR lens if you need telephoto.

$299 for the DA 18-50 and $100 as part of the kit, that's pretty awesome. And $149 for the flash, wowee.

The specs seem solid, improved AF system over the K-S1 plus all the other features...launch price is a bit high i hope it goes down soon...

and all of it weather sealed. This is easily the most exciting stuff Pentax has brought out in the digital era. This is a really nice package. Stylish too. The grey and orange is really striking.

No wonder.... we always though the new FF body was the reason for the price drop on the K-3 for the last months of 2014. But now, checking the KS-2 specs, I can clearly see that besides lack of top LCD, a metal body and less af points, the rest of the specs are considerably higher that those on the K5-iis, and by this, it could make an easy K-3 killer for the market.

Than new kit lens really calls my attention.... I really want to try one, just for the heck of it. Who knows, maybe its a good reason to get rid of my DA18-35 AL ii (non WR), now permanently installed in my trusty *istD, for anyone in the house to use as they see fit
