Indeed. If your home isn't a Pentax museum, you've failed at life.

Ricoh is on a fast track to full frame. The Holy Trinity pro zooms better be good—these are the bread and butter of any professional full-frame camera system.

It looks like Ricoh is really going to hit it out of the ballpark.

Yep.

Now we just have to "vote" on Ricoh/Pentax... with our wallets.

I'm just waiting (hoping) the 150-450 will blow 100-400 and similar out of the water.

So at FF launch there will be:-
3 FA limiteds
50 & 100macro
FA 35/2 and 50/1.4
D-FA 28-120?/4
D-FA* 15-30/2.8
D-FA* 24-70/2.8
D-FA* 70-200/2.8
D-FA 150-450

plus DA lenses that can work on FF
DA* 55/1.4
DA* 200/2.8
DA* 300/4
da35/2.2 & da50/1.8
maybe 40/2.8, 70/2.2 & 60-250/4

Thats justs leaves a fast 24 (good for aps-c bokeh and FF astro.
Not a bad line up!
And all DA lenses will work in crop mode.

pentax 645z need some special lenses....one tilt shift wide angle....three leaf shutter, considering the price onf body pentax could really attract a lot of phase in hassy and full frame user.
these lenses are vital.

unluck sigma didn't offer the 1,4 trinity to pentax. i hope they will change their view and offer the 1,4 and some other gem like 120-300 2,8 in pentax mount.
a 24 35 50 85 1,4 combination it will be amazing

These look great, but we must bear in mind that this is the stuff pros make their money on.

Ricoh absolutely must get the Holy Trinity right. The credibility of Pentax K as a professional camera system comes down to these lenses.

That said, I'm pretty sure Ricoh is aware of this and is pulling all the stops they can to deliver the best possible optics for pros. The D FA* 70-200mm seems to be competitive with the Nikon counterpart judging by the MTF charts—it might not be as sharp as the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L II, but it should deliver the performance pros expect.

The document changed some time between yesterday and today. When I (and others, I guess) looked at it yesterday the only k-mount planned lens was the DA wide zoom. Now there are also three planned D-FA lenses (probably 24-70 F/2.8, 28-105 and 14-30ish)!

If 'large diameter' equates to f/2.8, then the omission of this in the 'DA wide zoom' makes me wonder how the new lens will differ from the existing DA 12-24 f/4. Will it just be a moderate update with HD, DC and WR (which, of course, if nice enough)?

Featuring f/2.8 would've made this lens a great choice for nightsky/milky way photography, but I guess we might as well resort to the new 'D FA large diameter wide zoom'. Will just be bloody expensive.

It's right way - need to produce FF zooms first. There are FF fixed lenses.
Zooms for FF are a must.

Wide and normal—likely 2 of the latter—will be required to launch the FF system. One a * and one not.

I would not be surprised to see the 24/2 revived as well around the same time, likely in a wide clone of the 55/1.4.

Macro is done with the D FA 100/2.8.

I suspect the Limiteds will be revamped in a couple of years. those odd FL's are Pentax trade sellers quirky, unique, quality. Not much need to redo their success quite yet. On a larger FF body they will be supplements to the required zooms.

The lens roadmap has no legend. Not great design IMO.

They haven't had the FA 50/1.4 and FA 35/2 on a Map in a long time, but they keep supplying Adorama and BH with lenses.
They went and updated the Roadmap since yesterday! They added the FA 50 and 35 to it! With these and the FA LTD trio, DFA 50 and 100 Macro, they have Primes covered on the interim. They will need some tele lenses and some extra-wides down the stretch.
