This may have been pointed out before, but I see the FA 50/1.4 and the FA 35/2 have been added back to the road map. For a long time they were not listed on the road map even though they were readily available for purchase, which always made me wonder.

That would be fine. A real 15mm is superwide enough on a FF. I assume it will be f2.8, WR, HD, and...crucial to me and some others, it must have a filter thread.

Cost? $1000?

Filter threads seem few and far between on f2.8 FF ultra-wide zooms - eg absent on the Tokina 16-28, Tamron 15-30, and Nikon 14-24.

If it's a f/2.8 it will probably be a $2000 lens.
Even third part ultrawide f/2.8 FF lenses cost more than $1000.

The SamYang 16mm f/2 is really great also and it has almost no distorsion. It is top sharp on my K3 even at 100% crop.
I use it mostly for video and it is just perfect for this purpose.

But it will not be compatible on the coming FF ;(

Forgot to add the word "zoom".

The only ultrawide f/2.8 zoom for FF below $1000 i know, is Tokina 16-28.
