You've been predicting the name of the just-sort-of-announced Pentax full frame camera since 2006? Okay...

Yes, Pentax are certainly giving us strong hints in that direction.

I just dug through the whole of internets to find that shirt. If anyone has any info where I can get this (shipped to Europe) I'd be very thankful.

Must. Have. That. T-Shirt.

Just ask the former Norwegian main distributer of Pentax. I also predicted that they would make a digiatal copy of the Auto 110, it was i10, and now Q after Q in James Bond!

Still no mention of what Pentax is going to call it yet.

The scale of the VF/pentaprism housing suggest that this camera may have a rather high VF magnification and VF coverage - this could be a sign that Pentax will break the current trend of 0.71X 98% viewfinders like what is found in the 5DMKIII class cameras
I agree, they have way too much riding on this.
Pentax ME Super was 92% x 0.95, and was one of best VF ever.
I expect nothing less than 100%, x 0.9X in the new FF.

The New FF DSLR has a CHUNKY prism, which holds promise the VF will be decent. The ME super had a fantastic VF, but the coverage was a bit underwhelming, I would be content with 0.78X with 100% - or Ideally 0.92X with 98%. My experience with film and DSLRs 100% @ 0.70X is the absolute smallest OVF I can tolerate. I wouldn't accept anything below 0.70X in any case.

The ME Super didn't had autofocus. AFAIK all 35mm-format AF cameras on the market have viewfinder magnifications under 0.8x.
0.9x would be amazing, but perhaps not something we should be expecting.

Going back to the mock-up, there are no less than 3 buttons on its left side. One should be the AF mode button, the other - the Raw/Fx button, and then there's an extra.
It appears this is not just a scaled up K-3.

100% 0.8 x would be very good.

Omg, now that I see it with the 31 attached to it, I can really say that that's a BIG fat camera. It's definitely bigger then my old 5DII. I understand that some people are into that. Cheers to them.

Is there any news about the specs of the new full frame? There is no one there, at CP+ to reveal the news? The suspense is killing me.

Pentax, break the internet. And it's not even launched yet lol.

Look at that huge VF hump too! It looks like it can contain a Q-S1's entire sensor and SR board in it

Don't think there will be specs released at CP+. PF will be there to interview Ricoh/Pentax people though. Stay tuned...

Yes, it would! A 100%, 0.8 x viewfinder - I would gladly give up on the built-in flash for that.
