Would someone tell me where everyone is getting the 'tilty/articulate screen' idea from? Based on the model alone I see absolutely no indication that the screen will move just a millimetre.
Kimio Tanaka (product development) mentions it in an interview:
He says
- articulate screen
- no flash
- screw drive
- fixed focal lenses will come (of course)
- SR resolution enhancement will be 1,5 - 2x
data size goes up to 4x
only for non moving motives

How does a Pentax flash master communicate with its slaves?
strobe?
IR?
RF?
I'm wondering whether a camera could serve as a flash master without actually having a flash itself.

Using sensor shift to take multiple images of stationary subject to increase resolution.

It means that the SR mechanism will be used to increase the effective megapixels, resulting in a 1.5-2x increase in image resolution. The files will be up to 4x larger. It can only be used when the camera and subject are not moving.

with use of the appropriate wireless control setting on an attached AF540 or AF 360 it will be perfectly possible to control additional flashes.

The large articulating screen looks promising. Thanks for posting.
I am not sure if that it is an articulated screen... just saying...

The articulated screen is also confirmed in the interview.

I suppose the AF201FG is there for that.

A Japanese site features photos of the unveiling of the FF prototpye.

Sadly, it is just a 3D print again, but one can see the back of the camera with an enormous screen.

More images of the Pentax FF mock-up at Gigazine.
format is 6x7 isn't it.
what an ugly looking mock up. For two years we only get mock ups. Mock it up Pentax.

Interesting to see what you people see in a plastic brick. The screen looks like dark to me, like all inscriptins on the buttons.... This is so stupid, but a sign of life maybe.

Oh, yes the model is mirrorless - ha ha ha

Well, I'm glad someone can see the cloud behind all that silver lining.
