I too hope that the new FF inherits some of the strong design of the old 6x7. It was/is a great looking camera.

They certainly do: I rather like its purposeful aura.

Are there any rumors about FF wideangles yet? I would be pretty excited about those.

I think Pentax will suprise both with sensor and lenses this time. They can't afford to do it halfway...It will be the peak...K2!

If you refer to Mark II, i dont know why they changed things there. But with the FF, its another story. They need to be ahead here. They can't afford to deliver with the same sensors as cameras that are on the marked today. Then Pentax will be parked again in few months. There is a good reason for the FF not coming before end of the year.

Let's hope, and for some, pray! Pentaxians are almost religious anyway...I've been in the fanclub since 1977, and the only Pentax camerasystem I don't have is the 645 (analog and digital)...

There's hope, then there's fact, then there is disappointment (or sometime joy ) For most pentaxians a sensor like the D810 would be a godsend, but when hoping for a magical unknown it will turn rather drab.

The Canon users will. The plastic showmodel looks like a Canon. Boy do I hope the eventual design will be different.

I was thinking of performance, the quality of the pictures, not the design.

Oh, I'm absolutely sure Ricoh will nail that. Just by Looking at the performance of all their recent products. The design is the only thing what I fear a bit though, because of the ugly plastic showmodel.

That's mainly because it is a plastic 3d printed model. You can see none of the refinements.

In Photo of the Day (photographer Tanaka Nozomi man's blog), information about the Pentax full-size machine it has been posted.

- PENTAX K-3 II Notes in the super-resolution photography (Part)

Super-resolution mode that is mounted on the K-3 II is, perhaps, improved new features (revolutionary?) Has also been added, is mounted on the K-mount full-size format camera that will be announced later this year , should. Aside whether with new features, it is equipped with real-resolution system almost certainly.

In samples such as Imaging Resource, K-3 II Real resolution system (super-resolution), so have found that there is a significant effect, improved to be mounted on a new full-size machine which It is very fun or to evolution only.

Revolutionary (?) Of the new features, but seems to still not sure information, because there is also a rumor that the Pentax full-size machine new features never before this is mounted, I want to wait in the hope I think.
