The Ricoh 'About' page (https://www.ricoh.com/about/company/business/) describes "Other" as "We supply digital cameras, spherical cameras and watches while offering financial and logistics services through subsidiaries", which would make sense with the separate listing for Ricoh Leasing. It's odd that the financial report includes services in the list of products for most of other sectors, but not Other.

(Ricoh Leasing's financial report gives net sales more than twice that of Ricoh corporate's "Other" category for the same time period. I can't see any obvious way to align the two reports.)

In the CP+ interview, they did say that the domestic market for Ricoh/Pentax was bigger than the global market. That would suggest the split is at least 50-50. While I have no doubt that the 85% number is too big, I have no problem with quoting it, either - for some of my countrymen, it's necessary to club them with a huge number to make them understand that it's not 99% in the United States.

Yeah, we need to understand that overseas is just 15 percent of the Other division sales, and less than 1 percent of Ricoh's overall sales.

It does not have the volume to justify Western marketing expenditure in a Canikon sense. You can pay Walmart to reserve display space and buy Super Bowl ads, but you're unlikely to get that money back.

Stop guessing, Kunzite, where is your proof?
In order to stop, I would have to start first.
There is scattered information on Ricoh's Investor Relations site. For example, in the latest financial presentation they say (when talking about the Other segment):
"One item in this segment, our San-Ai business in the apparel area will be disposed of after April."
Or, in the financial presentation for the FY 2014:
"<Other>
- Sales of camera and financial business have expanded, and we have achieved
profitability from a loss of the previous year.
- We have returned to profit in all business segments and geographic areas."

While digital cameras appears to be the only product line in Other, that's not the only business.

Well, we can start with ridding ourselves of the notion that leasing is part of it, thanks to Thoog.

Cameras definitely are, and some other businesses that in the reports Ricoh don't consider worth mentioning.

Logistics and financial; my mistake. Including San-Ai which I assume is San-Ai Logistics.
I'm not sure what's your point.
