Typo on K3 body listed as Discontinued by Manufacture

Perhaps it's a typo. but amazon listed the K-3 as discontinued.

That's been posted a few times. Not correct as you guessed.

It's a combined ploy by Canon and Nikon hackers to lessen the competition by fooling consumers...

Many Amazon posts prematurely list items as discontinued. It could be seller confusion, or a purposeful trick to get browsers to buy now.

Calling Amazon's listings involving most things Pentax anything short of a "catastrophe" greatly understates the caliber of disaster that most of them are.

The listing is from an Amazon reseller. This storefront frequently lists lenses and cameras as discontinued and, predictably, sends the users on this site into a flutter when they do so.

Sorry, but (Discontinued by Manufacturer) is not a typographical error.
It's blatant mis-information.

Thsi is a typo.

But not surprising for Amazon. If you want to see a real Amazon train wreck check out their dates for when books will be published. I always cross check their dates with B&N. Amazon is optimistic in their publishing dates. B&N is much more accurate.

B&H has done the same thing before too.. then again, if they all start listing DC then maybe there is something there. Until then, stress less. Actually, even then, stress less. haha
