So no mirrorless mount and no antique aperture coupling! Also doesn't come with free FF
Maybe not free FF, but some features from the FF will be there. All i will say at this moment.

Or space for a GPS unit?
Actually at another topic Asahi Man said something about "Dont forget GPS" .. so.. that could be there indeed.

What about FPS?? right now there is 8.3 .. pretty damn good.. but Canon 7Dmk2 have 10.. maybe they will match that.

This is actually a wish come true for majority of forum members from one year ago : K3 with FF sensor inside. Pentax marketing simply just run out of ideas for a new ff camera name
OK, now seriously, it will be nice to have those fancy things like flip screen, nfc and so on but this is probably great oportunity for "live" testing most important functionality of a new FF camera: NEW AF SYSTEM.

Actually much better AF system would be the only thing of interest to me, compared to K5II. Focus peaking would be a plus but not something I'd buy a new camera for.

Lovely, will wait for the new K3II, as I need a new camera soon.

My guess:
- Included GPS + WIFI (probably NFC but not a big deal)
- No more build-in flash but better X-Sync (I hope this will come with a real wireless flash possibility as you don't have the build-in flash as a controller)
- articulated LCD (I prefer the 645Z option than the KS-2)
- slightly improved AF (but only with new lenses)
- slightly improved IQ and frame rate
- Included focusing screen will be a nice addition (but probably won't happen)

Elimination of the flash delay that has been mentioned in several posts would be nice...

I do not doubt that a successor to the k-3 is coming, possibly even the one talked about right here. However, the image looked like a photoshop of a k-3, nothing more.

I hope the new model will at least have a tilting screen, if not swing and tilt. Excellent focus peaking would also be on the list. My guess about the surprise feature that kenspo was talking about is a hybrid viewfinder of some kind.

Just my 2 cents :-)

An upgrade of the movie mode, especially real sensor-movement SR, would be welcome. I'm not a heavy movie user, but the K-3 seems like one step forward, one step backward compared to my K-5.
