I guess we'll see. I'm currently saving my shekels for the full frame camera coming out in the fall. This would have to be awfully good to make me jump in quicker, although I guess I could always upgrade my K5 II to a K3 II and use the K3 as a back up.
I might go and get this one immediately as I won't have the money for the FF anyways. And I recently got a trio of SDM malfunctions at a reasonable total cost (DA* 16-50, DA* 50-135 and DA* 55) ;-)

I think that was Winder's wish list, not actual info. Although some of those probably will be there.

I feel your pain, I've been eying a Prestige for some time and almost pulled the trigger a week ago but reconsidered after some reflection. My K3 has been flawless so far, I didn't want to let it go.

I think someone in the know confirmed there's going to be an improved AF module on the new K3ii, and "differences" on the OVF between the models. Expect a improved sensor, with the same mpx and better dynamic range ala Nikon D7200, more FPS. From the prism housing I expect the new APS-c camera to have somewhat of an upgraded OVF and AF (improved LV features, which would require a flippy screen somewhat), and perhaps that "extra something" (pixel shift) that Ricoh has been touting on interviews about the new FF. That would mean new Engine, higher FPS, more video modes (maybe 4K).

If it is so much more, then why they'll call it K-3II, not something else?

That's a good question. Although it seems some physical changes are prominent between the models, Adam and few others are ruling out a flippy screen. It might be a top panel redesign only, keeping everything else the same From the rumors it seems that the K5/ii/s days of small incremental improvements are gone. Ricoh seems more aggressive with its model updates, features and pricing. They're trying to seriously challenge the competition its seems.

The K series has only the K1 left down the road. The FF is probably going to get a KZ or MZ or something of that sort.

I haven't said anything about the name being only K-3II.

Hmmm..that would imply a "doctored" photo then, would it not?

Seems a lot of people are expecting a lot of updates to the K-3 II... While I'd like it to have a ton, it prolly would only have built-in WiFi/NFC and the new stacking tech from Ricoh.

It would be nice to have an updated processor and sensor, (the latter is more possible) as well as a new (again!) AF module, but that's a tough call to say.

How much of a body redesign are we estimating given what you know from the specs, 25%, 40%, 70% ..?

I cannot see any difference between that pic and the k-3.
I doubt it
The flash sign on top of the flash release button is now above it, on the body! (Or any other sign whatsoever)
