If anything, this one goes a bit further (GPS, superresolution) than the K-5 to K-5II leap, and I wasn't expecting some of the big advancements that others in this thread were.
If we look at the competitor, they use the same "tick-tock" strategy :
- tick : new body, new sensor
- tock : improvement of the existing - incremental upgrade
- tick : ....
Anyway, i'm quite happy that a new body may be out soon, i'll have even better deal on used K5II or K3
