Since it is basically the same body maybe the K-3 II can be retrofitted with a flash (and lose GPS).

Im In !...... Just as soon as the pool has some water Im taking the dive !
This camera simply has "Best Landscape Camera Ever"........ written all over it !
Selling my backup nearly new K3 for this one and not looking back !

That "pixel shift" feature with high fidelity RGB reproduction will make a lot of landscape photogs happy.

The improved AF tracking IMO looks like a combination of the old K3, with the addition of some sort of GPS - sensor shift (panning) feature to make it more accurate. I'm sure the new d-FA telephoto lenses with their fast motors will perform very well.

I don't know about that, but what I want to know is if the new flash-less body can trigger remote flash wirelessly with no flash in the shoe ... I hope so.

GPS only gives you the position. For orientation you'd need a compass for example.
