As it must have to be able to shoot 6016*4000 size files
Ok..thank you. But i will still make the call tomorrow, to get an answer on which sensor is in the Mark II i Got told specific that AF-C AND handling ISO would be noticable better now. So..hmm

very good price!! the K3 must drop to $500 then..
The PENTAX K-3 II will be available at retailers nationwide and at Digital Cameras by RICOH Imaging - Waterproof Digital Camera - Digital SLR in May 2015 for a suggested retail price of $1099.95.

The pixel shift for high ISO shooting looks interesting! I really shouldn't spend more money these days, but the k3-ii sure looks awesome.

Much as I like the current cameras, I much prefer the form and shape of my K10D to the tiny, cramped K-3.
I keep hearing this. Never held a K10/20D, but I love the minimalist size of the current models. Probably the new FF will be pleasing to many who wish for a slightly larger body/grip.

Looking at how the K-S2 is priced, I would expect the K-3 to remain at $700 or higher.

I have large hands. The mass of the K10D is easier for me to steady, also. I should probably just get a grip for the K-3, which sort of defeats the small size advantage.

Don't get me wrong - the K-3 seems to slip naturally into my right hand, but I shoot both-hands, like an SLR. I prefer a KX or K2 to an MX or MESuper, too, for the same reasons.

I am definitely with you on this one.
I once owned a K10d for a short period of time. I agree the grip is too shallow and much prefer the grip and button layout on my K30.

While I like a camera to FIT my hand nicely, I have to say that by far the most comfortable, ergonomically blissful camera I've ever held is the 26.5 oz Nikon D750. I'm telling you, when they turned the battery they way they did and made the grip deeper and skinnier, they struck gold for my hands. I wish every camera was like this. (The K-3 ii is ~28 oz.)

I was wondering... can't Pentax simply release an updated flucard that will satisfy demands of wi-fi users out there? Does it have to be built in?

I think they specifically mention wifi control using a flucard in the K-3 II. I'd assume that at least some functionality is possible already with Wifi SD cards, and probably 100% of what a K-3 II will offer, if they'd provide firmware updates for older cameras.

I'm not sure that is possible. The use of WiFi for for camera control is available with the FLUCard. The transfer of RAW files I think exceeds the practical speed of WiFi, but I might be wrong. The transfer of jpegs is easy to do and is accomplished by both the FLUCard and other SD card solutions.

So I don't really understand what is missing. But I'm not a big user of WiFi so I'm sure there is something needed that I don't see.

The official specs from Ricoh website

Google Translate

My apologies for speculating that new hardware (sensor + engine) would be included on the K3ii, I was mistaken.

K-30 price dropped dramatically after K-50 was alive and well on the scene.. even though it is THE SAME camera.

I suspect 500 dollars for a K-3 classic is realistic in 5 months from now

So how do they price the newly released K-S2??
(which, despite being a new product, lags the K-3 in many ways)

2 Days? EU – Refund rights when cancelling online orders - Your Europe

Update: I'm not sure about that 'warning', in Hungary you can return goods after buying them.
Update 2: Nevermind, just check your local law about the 14 days refund, makes more sense, than reading EU stuff
ibought mine in a local store...i talk to the owner of the store on the possibility of returning it,but he said "not possible"... i don't know about the local law on returning goods and refund.
