Translation is not real good. Pixel shift, GPS, and a couple of performance improvements. Nice step up, but If you already have a K-3 I'm not sure its worth the upgrade.

K-3 II basic specs of does not seem the same as the very large K-3, but the creation and GPS built-in high-quality image with pixel shift, such as the improvement of the follow-up of the AF is of major changes sounds like.

Since the flash in K-3 II is like not being built, GPS and electronic compass in that space, I might have put features such as Astro tracer.

Hmmm
the built in GPS may interest some.
Think built in wi-fi would have been better use of the flash space maybe?
The pixel shift is intriguing.

Does anyone know if AF and processor are same as before ?

Interesting. 16-85 available as a kit lens... and 4.5 "stages" of SR? That's an upgrade, isn't it?

I don't see it as a big upgrade.
pixel shift (static subjects only) is the biggest

These are of limited use for most people:
no flash
GPS
electric compass
astrotracer

It has new HD video specs, but is it improved?

Other than those features its the same as the K-3. The sensor is probably the same, the same Prime III image processor, & the same SOFOX 11 AF system, so your K-3 can probably get many of the improvements in a firmware update. The K-3II isn't really the game changer I was hoping for.

I was expecting more than this. Maybe Ricoh save the best for the fullframe.

Will be interesting to see the difference in price between the K3 and the K3II. I've been planning a K3 for the interim, but if the new version is not a huge leap, it maybe worth getting the K3II. The improvements are welcome, I won't really miss the flash. Disappointed however that no flip screen has been included.

Seems like a minor update so it won't trigger my CBA. Fill flash or wifi are more useful to me than built in GPS (don't like the additional battery drain and I prefer using an external GPS logger). Good to see Ricoh is taking Pentax brand seriously regardless.

As previously said, not much of an upgrade from the original K3 but enought for those coming from "older" cameras.

What a let down

Specs don't seem particularly better than K3,
I for one am Not impressed,
what happened to the tilt LCD, better AF I don't think this is much of an improvement
we could get some of the functions on a FW upgrade for the k3

I will wait a few weeks to see the price,
but it does look like I will be ordering the Prestige Gunmetal K3.
I hope the k3 comes down a bit more in price

its so disappointing if This is what Pentax call a newer K3ii
