It looks like people are taking the lack of pop-up flash pretty well. I thought they'd start crashing the server in rage.

Might just be enough to get me to upgrade from my k-30.

Question for flu card users, to use the tethering/wifi features do you have to be writing to the flu card? I use a 32gb card now and don't want to go back to 16gb.

Well, there has been at least one complaint around here recently
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/16-pentax-news-rumors/293180-k-3ii-announced-soon-36.html #526

In my case, I don't like using what is basically a point-source flash that takes up camera space when I'm not using it and battery when I am using it.
Dating back to the time when a good camera didn't have any flash with it (which was also the time when it would come with a prime lens instead of a mid-range zoom),
I've always considered having a decent flash with me as important as having a good selection of lenses.
But, as usual, YMMV, and I choose not to get into arguments over issues like this.

(see #28 of https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/16-pentax-news-rumors/293180-k-3ii-announced-soon-2.html)
I wrote that "All questions should be answered on or before Tuesday (Monday night in the Americas)", not that the actual announcement should take place by then.

Most of the questions were answered today, i.e. by Tuesday afternoon in Europe / Tuesday morning in the USA. It so happened that the expected / programmed 'leak' took place on Tuesday night instead of Tuesday morning in Japan and it was not exhaustive.

I deeply apologize for this unfortunate delay...

Video is now 60fps 1080p (it was 1080i)
K-3 video definitely is Full HD 60i / 30p (and also 50i, 25p and 24p).

I'm not so sure K-3 II will be different in this respect.

Yes 1080i 60fps (which is interlaced so has only half the information of 1080p)

That would be great! The Astrotracer function is really cool, with these, more people could go stargazing!
That should sell at least 30 of these puppies.

You have 2 SD card slots and you can set up the camera to take shots to both, or one card until it fills. Flucard goes on the #2 slot, so on the #1 you could have your 32GB card.
