After a lot of crying from us I think Pentax has listened and made pricing in Canada Australia very similar to that in US (apart from local taxes entirely out of Pentax's control). Let's hope it will be the same for Europe too.

Holy crab, the K200D is getting to the same price that I got my K100D in late 2006 yet it is so much loaded; on the other hand, I am too spoiled now with the K10D's two rotary dial system and direct access to settings using the dials and control buttons that I have to wait for the K20D, K30D or whatever to get to my price range; must resist these kind of posts now. :ugh:

K20D: 980€
K20D + 18-55 II: 999€

Not the bad ...

Expensive you mean ! I can get the k20d below €900, and the cheapest one is €848,- But Tekade is indeed very good.
