This exact copy belongs to Ricoh Norway. I get my copies very soon. Together with a new 70-200.. Cant wait
If you have any contacts at Pentax, I'd love to get in touch with the USA folks, for review purposes for SLRLounge.com and other reasons. Thanks! :-D

Yes and no.
I think there will be 2 FF coming. One entry level FF and one pro level.

APS-C will have K-3II as its top model

And that 4.5 stop mean that I should be able to shoot a still subject as easily with a 35mm at 1/50s without SR and a a 35mm at 1/2s... And a K5 should do as easily 1/5s with SR on... This is not my experience.

The advertised stops have been a bit on the optimistic side until know (K5, K3...). New owners of K3-II will be able to explain to us if they get great shoots with their 35mm a 1/2s or not... or if is more has to be 1/10s (2.5 stops) or 1/20s (1.5 stop).

Talking about being pedantic... I don't think the K-3 was measured using the CIPA methodology. IIRC they did it first for the K-S1.

Why would you think so? And why did you quote kenspo?

I think you would be more likely to see improvement with longer lenses. SR would probably have an easier time compensating for shake with a 200mm lens at 1/12 second than a 35mm at 1/2 second. My experience says that once you get longer than 1/8 second, it is going to be tough to see sharp photos.

I do wonder how they test these things. Someone had said once that people with worse technique benefit more from SR than people with good technique and that would make sense to me.

Then let's hope K3-II buyer will show us what they get with DA15 at 1s, DA35 at 1/2s, DA200 at 1/12 or DA300 at 1/20 and let's compare it with DA15 at 1/20, DA35 at 1/50, DA200 at 1/300 and DA300 at 1/500.

Well I think Kenspo said 2 new cameras are coming and that there is no APS-C flagship.

Someone made a guess of FF and Q. Kenspo said "yes and no".

Just my guess, if one FF, no APS-C flagship and it's neither Q nor GR, then maybe there will be 2 FFs.

No aps-c flagship, but maybe aps-c entry level or another one off like the K-01 (I am not sure the K-S1 was meant as a one off, but it will probably turn out to be). Ricoh is another Brand so I don't know whether a new GR counts. Maybe Pentax will try a large sensor compact like the RX-100 or LX100 but it would make more sense to do that under the Ricoh brand. I don't think they will try something like the RX-10 or Pana FZ1000.

It's one FF. One. Just like Pentax announced this spring.
What would be the point in launching 2 cameras before having the lenses, anyway?
