There is no sign of Ricoh on the body. But even if it were been...Ricoh saved Pentax so I wouldn't mind if the name Ricoh would be visible...

Yes, RICOH should be proud of their achievement, I am surprised that their name isn't on it anywhere though. Enjoy your new toy!

Yes, enjoy your new toy!, We are waiting for impressions, and pictures. I like to know how it performs at higher ISO. Especially, if pixel shift has an influence over noise.

You have bought it from a Romanian store?

Dan: congrats on the purchase; please don't forget to share your impressions. (dai de baut? )
By the way, you can find Ricoh on a small label on the bottom plate

Jimmy: From Focus94, with the anniversary discount.

Ah that's what I suspected, looks like they reverted to how Asahi used to do it - too small to notice unless you are looking, but there all the same. Good move by RICOH.

I will put some pictures later this evening (if I have time), or tomorrow. I'm also interested in how it will perform at high ISO and of course Pixel shift resolution.

Yes Jimmy, from Focus94 (which is the official Pentax distributor in Romania). The anniversary discount is 21% so I paid 893$ for body only.

Kunzite, you have a beer my friend.

Oh, I have forget that is their anniversary at the end of May. Thanks Dan, that you have remembered me.

So, this camera came in our country sooner that in US. Good.

About pictures, whenever you can, is good, with the condition to be 1/1 pixel, even if it must be cropped.

Zygonyx, Thank you! I had a K-5 II so I bought only the K-3 II body because I allready have lenses. In the small box is the battery grip (D-BG5) which I bought separately.

JimmyDranox, yes it was a surprise for me also... I was told initially that it will arrive in the first week of June. I haven't got the chance to play with it because I got home late and it took about 4 our for the battery to fully charged. But I intent to do some tests today, and see how Pixel shift resolution will improve the image.

Greets!

Have just bought the K3 II with 18-135 lens. As I do much landscape and travel photography and field work I have high hopes for this camera. New to Pentax and can hardly wait to try it out. Will post sample photos in the following days.

Lep pozdrav,

Marko

You need to buy a Sony.
I really want to jump to the sony a7..really the only thing preventing me from doing so is the upcoming camera with the new sensor.
