Anyone with a K-3 and a K-3II willing to do a test with images, reviewing the improved shake reduction please?

How would you make a test without having some kind of fancy test equipment?
You would need to take pictures under exactly the same conditions; I'm fairly sure that I'm not consistently steady, and I'm not sure I'd have much confidence in anyone else's consistency either.

Indeed one would need the same camera and lens in the same conditions, photographing side by side. Take 10-15 images each of the same scene. We can extrapolate from that.

To stay on track here, Imaging resource has evaluated the Pixel shift resolution and done some comparison with D810 and 645z. Must say, this sub 1k€ camera is able to deliver some mighty impressive images, of course within the possibilities of this technique, but still...

If anything, that showed me how much I want a 645Z.

Holy flying hockey puck!

I don't often use a tripod or shoot static subjects, but seeing that first comparison of the red and pink cloths makes me want to do just that. I can't see how this can fail to seriously attract a certain group of photographers.

It's a great feature. Imagine what the 36mp on the FF would be like.

The thoughts in my head went as followed (after reading that article)... 'This [K-3ii] will be my next body upgrade' followed very shortly with 'wow... d800 has that level of detail in single shots.. I want the FF body!' followed very shortly with 'JUST IMAGINE THE FF CAMERA WITH THIS FEATURE!@#!' hehe

The rumors that claim that this feature will be on the Pentax FF are already old, maybe even one year. I will be really surprised if this will not be present in FF.

I think no more than it will hurt FF sales.. the ability to grab that much detail in a single shot vs 4 'glued' together means it is much more useful to buy the bigger sensored camera if you really need that type of detail in dynamic situations.

But maybe we can go one further.. this feature on the 645Z hahaha

Probably not. Otherwise everybody would be buying Sigma SD1 Merrills. I won't be too surprised if there are more 645Z shooters out there than SD1 shooters.

There are games for babies you know where the baby is supposed to put the big shape into the big hole and the small shape into the small hole. Can be more complex with shape of different kind (star, square, triangle...).

If you want to give it a try, here a picture of GPS antenna from an iphone: Wholesale Spare Parts iPhone 5 GPS Antenna Flex Cable Original

Then try to play the game with the antenna and a K3... or a compact camera or GPS watch or smarphone... as many have a indeed one GPS antenna bundled.

I'd say it fit a gps watch that has also a screen, some power source, button and processor, it could bit a K3 body but for sure no one could ever draw such drastic conclusion without asking Ricoh... or a baby...
I know I will irritate a few with this but I tend to agree with what you said and HOW you said it. However the more I think about the matter I am starting to believe the removal of the OBF was strictly for cost maybe even cost savings. They were adding cost with the GPS and Astrotracer so they cut cost by removing the flash. You make a very good case for your space argument based not so much on known fact, but very good logic.
