How about the K20D with a magnifying glass, you could include the cardboard tube from a toilet roll as an extender.

Hi from Florida Ben. I have been up to speed with you Pentax trip since you got wrongly booted off DPR. Actually made my first PS action using a technique you had said you applied to most of your shots. Involves an unsharp mask followed by a dup layer, then finished off with high light/ shadows adj. Can send you a copy of the action if you need it. Just kidding.

The model shoot you mention here seems like great fun. I checked her link, and couldn't navigate the site for some reason. I did find her myspace, and she looks quite exotic, almost like an attractive 70's Cher. Hope to see some of your shots on her myspace. Here was the best one I found.

She is really very pretty. She is a nationally known TV celebrity as well.

Don't know about her feet, but being that she will be wearing shoes, shouldn't be a big issue...
