It works with Pentax cameras in between APS-c and Medium Format. That's what I took away from it. It wasn't actually a Ricoh announcement the Ricoh representative asked if it worked with all Pentax cameras I don't think they had any involvement but they sounded pleased that they can stop answering questions about where are all the leaf lenses. For a small group of people this may be revolutionary so in that tiny universe everything just changed-ish.

Cool I was not aware Canon had a Medium Format camera good on them.

This only makes me think that Ricoh is not going to increase the native sync speed of their cameras and, instead, rely on expensive 3rd party flash units. I mean what about the FF?
