In spite of all Ricoh is more active than Hoya. Sorry to say but I expected much more from Hoya. Great optical firm and on the other hand the
Pentax tradition. And what - loose of time.

This has to be an overstatement though 'the potential to change how photographers work' I'm finding myself at a bit of a loss. Lets see what could be so revolutionary - High burst mode where you pick out the frame you want? Open source apps, Android OS DSLR, SIM card upload to cloud storage, Theta at 30 FPS with high resolution 20 mpixel images. Ricoh GR with in camera super sampling from multiple shots (Not the same as K-3 II) hey If I could come up with enough of these I might actually get close.

I doubt this will be something tangible, based on the wording. Perhaps it's a piece of software, firmware feature, etc.
